The snowmobile races in Port Henry were a success. I found an old picture from 2015, I think that was the last time the races were held in Moriah. If I recall correctly, that year I rode my sled to the races with Ted L. and Dave G.. Saturday they had a beautiful day and by all accounts everyone had a good time.
After the races, we invited people to the Marina for skating. Gabe and Cass strung lights on around the ice and had a nice bon fire. The skating wasn't great but was good enough and those that did skate had a good time. There was even Chili and Hot Chocolate.
June and I left the skating party early (for us) knowing that we had to pack in the morning and get on the road. Sunday we got up, finished packing, loaded all our toys and got on the road around 1PM.
We set off for Harvard, MA, not exactly south. We avoided the highways, since it was snowing much of the time with gusty winds, it was an easy 4 hour drive. Today we will hang with our friends here and maybe do a little sight seeing in the Boston area.
After many trips to the barn and pack the van, we are on the road. Reggie is being well taken care of by neighbors Tom and Lori (Matthew and Erica will have their turn too). The trip to Harvard was uneventful. We had a nice dinner with the Barbers and plan on seeing some historic places in Boston today. The sun is out!
