12Feb22, time to plan our trip. In Vermont the weather has turned from very cold to feeling like spring, 40's, hot sun, everything melting. The ice is mush, so no skating.
24Feb22. winter has been coming and going, yesterday it was 50F, today the high was 20F, but the snow conditions are poor at best. Tomorrow, Friday, they are forecasting 8 to 12" of snow. We plan to depart on Sunday, and are hoping things are cleaned up by then. We have sort of planned our first leg of our trip from Vermont to Fort Myers, FL. We plan to hug the east coast, visiting a few friends and relatives along the way.
26Feb22, 12"+ snow yesterday, still clearing out. The Moriah Snowmobile Club is hosting races.
Gabe, has invited people to the Marina to skate after the races. We were clearing the ice until late last night. Clearing the Skating Rink
We still plan to leave tomorrow but have lots of packing to do.
When it rains it pours! Snow activities abound and packing has only just begun....:)
