Thursday we 'took' coffee out on the patio watching the deer that come up to the fence bordering Randy and Sue's property.
The deer are used to people, but very skittish if you approach the fence.
Randy and I went to the local gas station and got home-made breakfast tacos, only in Texas. After a bit Randy, June and I rode our bicycles to the Pickleball courts while Sue went golfing. It was the first time that June or I had played Pickleball. June tried it out but did not want to play with the boyz and took her bike and headed home. The boyz played a few games, let's just say I have a lot to learn.
After Pickleball we went back to the house for lunch and we decided to watch the movie "Yesterday". We had seen it but it was a long tome ago. It is a great movie if you have not seen it.
After the movie and some napping, we went back up to the club for a St. Paddies Day Mixer. We had a great time meeting many of Randy and Sue's friends.
Yes we had green beer too.
It was a fun time, at the club they have pool tables and shuffle board too. Randy and I were undefeated in shuffle board :-).
We came back after the mixer for left over Chinese, it is always the best! Jersey Boys movie on but we went to bed before the end.
Watching the deer is fascinating for me. It didn’t get as warm as predicted but I took a long walk to warm up. This community sure does know how to have fun; Randy and Sue know everyone. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
